Fortuna Vitae is a unique Slovak product combining cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil with active organically bound forms of iodine. It is based on decades of research by Prof. Ing. Ivan Turianica, DrSc. and is connected with several patents and utility models developed through his scientific work.

Unlike conventional iodine products, Fortuna Vitae is a source of iodine, in the stable biologically available form, natural to the body. Instead of the whole iodine dose becoming freely available immediately, iodine associated with fatty acids can be retained and released over a much longer period of time as the lipid is processed. The thyroid and other relevant tissues use or store exactly what they need, and the rest (if there is any access at all) gets safely removed from the body.
